OVERVIEW

The Small Drive Platform is a vehicle designed for lightweight transport and repetitive tasks. It is a fully modular Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) capable of adapting to a wide range of operating environments, with over 30 possible configurations available. The platform uses a differential, bidirectional drive system, allowing it to rotate on the spot, and supports a maximum payload of up to 1000 kg. It offers a maximum speed of up to 2.2 m/s, dependent on payload and configuration.

Abroad range of navigation technologies can be integrated,including free navigation, free path planning, obstacleavoidance, magnetic tape and core guidance, and data matrixtape and code navigation. Thanks to its modular design, theSmall Drive Platform can be fully customised and seamlesslyintegrated into existing production environments, making it ascalable and future‑ready automation solution.

Our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are built on Siemens SIMOVE, utilising an open PLC architecture, standard industrial components, and deliberately avoiding conventional black‑box control systems. AMR fleets can be operated independently as stand-alone systems or controlled via SIMOVE Master Control, a PLC‑based system that uses PROFINET / PROFIsafe and is fully integratable into existing automated environments.

Alternatively, fleet control can be managed through SIMOVE Fleet Manager, an IT‑based, VDA 5050‑compliant system that enables integration with third‑party AGVs and AMRs. Our AMRs can be fully integrated into existing wireless infrastructures and seamlessly connected to MES and ERP systems, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operation across the wider production environment.
